Cliff Brady has practiced law in many areas of defense litigation since he was admitted to practice in 1989. He has extensive experience in the areas of construction litigation, title insurance litigation, professional malpractice litigation and general products liability defense. In addition to the areas of litigation, Mr. Brady has acted as counsel to a national bank giving advice regarding commercial transactions and loan documentation. Mr. Brady’s practice consists of representing corporations and individuals in various aspects of the construction process from drafting and analysis of contract language, addressing all aspects of mechanics and material and lien issues to representation of contractors and subcontractors in construction defect litigation.
With regard to his title insurance practice, Mr. Brady’s practice includes the defense of title insurance companies for direct claims of breach of contract, fraud and bad faith to the defense of insureds with respect to claims against title and the resolution of title defects. In the area of professional liability, Mr. Brady has represented hospitals and individual physicians and other health care providers in claims involving medical malpractice.
Mr. Brady has tried several cases to a jury verdict in both state and federal courts in Alabama and Pennsylvania. In addition, he has represented clients in arbitration procedures and has pursued claims on behalf of clients before governmental agencies such as the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Mr. Brady is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel as well as the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
